MENTORS

We are currently having a break between mentors - using our time to share techniques and expertise within the group and from invited tutors.

We are very excited to be welcoming Nigel Cheney to be our next mentor, beginning in September 2023. We hope to be working with him for 3 years.

The role of the mentor is to engage each practitioner in a dialogue with themselves - to propose not to impose.

Rather than a full-stop, finished work is to be seen more as a comma, a pause for breath and reflection within the dialogue.

The Group places emphasis on the individual with a rigorous approach to reflection and practice and the diverse applications of the textile media
